Tribunal claims

Tribunal claims are demanding and time-sensitive, but sometimes they are necessary. We guide senior executives through every stage, from Acas Early Conciliation to drafting claims properly and meeting deadlines, with a focus on presenting the strongest case and using that strength to secure the best outcome, whether at hearing or by settlement.

While usually a last resort for senior executives, we are well placed to support clients through the Tribunal process.

The Tribunal process is long and will require commitment and energy to pursue a claim. If you are forced into that position or want to claim, we can guide you through the various steps and act as your representative.

Often senior executives claim discrimination or whistleblowing, which are complex claims that always benefit form expert representation.

The whole process starts with ensuring ACAS Early Conciliation is triggered in time before proceeding to Tribunal.  Formulating and submitting the claims is the main consideration for individuals, as if any claims are missed or not properly pleaded, it’s likely the claims will not be allowed.

Understanding what has happened (and when), and applying the law to the facts ensures that all claims are submitted in time and the case is presented in the strongest possible terms.

Once litigation commences, there will be deadlines to comply with, which we can easily achieve on your behalf. If whistleblowing or discrimination are being claimed, theses will likely need to be detailed at a Preliminary Hearing to ensure the issues are clear and the case preparation is focused.

Ultimately, the aim is to ensure you succeed in your claim, or to use a strong claim to allow you to secure an appropriate level of settlement/compensation.
